Why Do People Cheat?
There could be many situations that could cause otherwise trustworthy partners to cheat. But why cheat on the person you love, and one that you should not hurt.
Maybe the most common reason is because of boredom. The routine of the relationship is the same day in and day out, and you forget to add a little spice in the relationship, as when you first met on your first date. Confusion in a relationship could be another reason. I saw you with him/her. Are when things seemed to go wrong in your life, or in your relationship. It's easy to make an excuse to find understanding, compassion with other people. And sometimes revenge can be quite simple, and eye for an eye. I caught you cheating on me so I am cheating on you. There are also relationships that are abusive and have forgotten to listen to their partner, of the pain they are causing within a relationship. At first thought you would think they would want to get out of the relationship, but what if they are raising children together. Then you may feel trapped in a bad relationship, and may consider cheating on your partner. Before cheating, consider the thought of trying to find help, not only for your relationship but for yourself. Do you cheat to find someone with compassion and understanding, which will say all the right words to you, someone that has an arm to cry on?
I don't consider it cheating, even though you might think it is. There are also gray areas in a relationship that could be consider cheating even if you do not feel it is cheating. So communicate with each other of how you may feel about it.
The thrill of cheating might be what it is, just a thrill, but if you are in a relationship you need to consider the one you love before you cheat. Why hurt the one you love.
