If you're thinking about getting a pet you may wonder if a dog is worth your effort. After all, dogs need to be housebroken. A dog might bark at night, are start chewing your slipper. Then there are times when you need to visit the veterinarian. So what is so great about having a dog for a pet!
The classic reason dogs make good pets should be a terrific companion. They sense what you may be feeling when you're moody and not feeling well. And when you're laying down a dog is eager to stick their cold nose onto your face and give you a big lick.
Dogs are faithful and lay at your feet. Dogs make great protectors. Dogs can be great with kids. And really dogs are not terribly expensive.
