Are you someone that watches the way you spend money? Then I can feel your pain, as the soaring costs for gasoline keeps going up, and you find yourself digging deeper in your pockets, just to pay the higher price for a gallon of gas. There seems to be no end in sight for soaring gas prices. Sometimes you may see the cost per gallon of gas come down just a little to give you hope, only to see the price per gallon of gas go twice as high in about a month or two. So why is gasoline so expensive? The barrel of oil is less now then a year ago, but the price per gallon of gasoline keeps going up.

We hear about record profits, but we do not hear what gasoline is doing to society?

What are we supposed to do? If the costs of filling up your car can run as high as $70, a week, do we make sacrifices? Just to put gas in your car, you may be sacrificing buying less food for the family, are not buying that gallon of milk for your children, you may be canceling your appointment with the doctor, are not able to pay the credit card bill or the mortgage on your house. Is this the kind of sacrifices we need to make, just to drive a car. The car that takes you to work, are to school.

So how do you feel, when you pull into a gas station, or when your statement comes at the end of the month, of what you owe in gasoline?
